First Fridays: June Announcements

Zoe Absey - Cass Clay Hunger Coalition
The Cass Clay Hunger Coalition created a resource for how to share extra local produce with those in need. Check it out here!
Their next meeting is Tuesday, June 7 at 8:15 at Broadway Square. They also meet the first Tuesday of the month. All are welcome! Follow them on Facebook to stay up to date with meetings and resources.
Jack Wood - Growing Together
The Tomato Seed Saving Club meets Tuesdays from 2-4pm and Wednesdays from 9-11am. To date they have planted over 800 plants. All the tomatoes are shared with the volunteers, as well as with Heart-n-Soul Community Cafe. If you’re interested in getting involved, contact Jack at jackstomatoes@gmail.com
Candace Anderson - Red River Harvest Coop
The Red River Harvest Coop is a producer online cooperative where you can purchase an array of local foods and pick-up in Moorhead on Wednesdays or have it delivered for a small fee. Visit their website to become a member and start ordering local!
Shannon Radcliffe Bueche - Massage Alchemy
Massage Alchemy is hosting a Potions Camp for Kids! June 7-9, 10am-12pm at the farm near Casselton. Kids will learn all about savaging for herbs and remedies to make healthy, healing tinctures and ointments. Follow her website for more details to come.
LesleyAnne Buegel - Artist’s Flea Market
Lost in Fargo and Lesley Did That have joined forces to create the Artist's Flea Market. A free event where artists, creatives, and makers will be setting up to sell their flea-market worthy pieces, supplies, tools, and more. This all ages event will be held at Wild Terra on June 12th from 3-8pm. Check out the Facebook event to learn more.
Monika Brown - Theatre B
B On Fire 2022: Theatre B's Sizzling Summer Fundraiser is Theatre B’s annual summer fundraiser that’s free for all to attend. Gather round the firepits, enjoy music from the Tucker’d Out Duo, and delicious food from popular food trucks, and a special sneak-peek of the 20th season. Thursday, August 11 from 6-9 p.m. at Theatre B (Moorhead). Enjoy a fun summer gathering with food, fire circles, music, and more. Check out their Facebook event to learn more.
