Community Supported Agriculture
community supported agriculture (csa)
Community Supported Agriculture Programs (CSAs) bring together consumers and farmers in a mutual relationship surrounding food. Consumers collectively pay for the up-front costs of farming through purchasing shares of a farm or garden. The farmer (and sometimes the consumer) tend and harvest the crop. Upon harvesting, the crops are equally divided among the share-holders (consumers) throughout the entire growing season, providing consumers with local, fresh produce.
NOTE: If you know of additional CSAs, please let us know! We know the list of CSAs in the area is ever-changing, and we do not intend to exclude any CSA not mentioned here.
