A Conversation on Regenerative Farming Feat. Gabe Brown

In June 2021, we co-hosted a conversation with Care for Creation featuring Gabe Brown, author of Dirt to Soil: One Family’s Journey into Regenerative Agriculture, and co-founder of the nonprofit Soil Health Academy.

Along with his wife Shelly and son Paul, Gabe owns and operates Brown’s Ranch, a diversified 5,000-acre farm and ranch near Bismarck, North Dakota. He was recently featured in the critically-acclaimed Netflix documentary, Kiss the Ground [watch trailer].

Brown shared his expertise and experience working on his regenerative farm near Bismarck for nearly 30 years, and took questions from the audience. Through years of trial & research, he has discovered that you can use less land & water, lower costs, and have better returns through more diverse approaches to farming, all while improving the soil & the natural habitat.
