Orchard Glen Park - 76th Ave S & Orchard Park Dr, Fargo, ND

One of Fargo's nature parks, Orchard Glen Park is a community orchard for everyone to enjoy. The natural setting is a popular backdrop for photographers year-round featuring beautiful blooms in the spring, vegetation in the summer, vibrant colors in the fall and frosty winter scenes.

West Fargo Community Orchard - three locations in West Fargo, ND

The West Fargo Forestry Department, in cooperation with the North Dakota Department of Agriculture installed several community orchard pilot projects within the City of West Fargo in 2017. The orchards contain apples, pears, plums, peaches and cherry trees for residents in the area to use for eating, baking, cooking or canning. The three locations are 2101 Fifth Ave. E., Francis Street near the Sheyenne River, and 2800 Fifth St. W.

Lake Ida Apple Farm - Lake Park, MINN. (40 minutes FROM F-M)

Lake Ida Apple Farm features six varieties of delicious, tree-ripened apples. Set in the beautiful rolling hills of West Central Minnesota, this locally-owned business welcomes you to visit their family-owned farm to enjoy strolling through an eight-acre orchard, overlooking picturesque Lake Ida, and sampling tasty apples.

Open for the season August 15, 2020.
Orchard hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays

Gottenborg Apple Orchard - Audubon, Minn. (45 minutes from F-M)

Gottenborg Apple Orchard is a family-owned orchard located conveniently off of US Highway 10 in Audubon, MN. They provide fresh pre-picked apples in a wide variety that are ready for purchase. Apple variety include: Zester, Sweet Sixteen, Sweet Tango, Honey Crisp, Chesnut Crab, Red Max, Harlason, and Snowsweet. They take special pride in delivering apples picked at peak ripeness and take measures to ensure their quality. They also sell orchard-fresh pies, apple crisp, a variety of jellies, caramel dipping, and special family recipes such as apple raisin cupcakes.
Open for U-pick on weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Saturday, August 29, 2020.

• The Growing Together - World Garden (by YMCA on 42nd St, Fargo) was planted in 2020, will be ready in 2021.
  If you’re interested in volunteering at the orchard, contact Jack Wood. Four hours of volunteering in 2021 gives you access to apples, pears, plums, and berries.
