The 6th Annual Health & Hunger Summit will be held October 26th at Bluestem Center for the Arts.
This year's theme is 'Nourishing Communities, Cultivating Change'. You can expect a day filled with inspired learning, opportunities to connect, and time to reflect. A delicious lunch will be provided by Tanya Redroad with Tee’s Taco’s.

Candace Anderson - Red River Harvest Coop
Red River Harvest Cooperative is a community of local producers committed to empowering a resilient local food economy by providing sustainably grown food options while practicing good stewardship of agricultural resources. They are available year round for local foods. Orders this week will receive free apples from Gottenborg Apples!

Jack Wood - Growing Together Community Garden Market
Come to the Growing Together Farmers Market wrapped up last week! They had a wonderful season. If you are interested in participating in the garden next year, email Jack Wood at jackstomatoes@gmail.com
The Tomato Seed Savers Club meets Tuesdays from 2-4 p.m. and Thursdays from 9-11 a.m. They have 136 varieties they are saving seeds. Contact Jack (email above) if you’d like to be involved.
Rory Biel - Cass Clay Food Partners
The mission of the Cass Clay Food Partners is to building a strong, healthy and vibrant food system. They host bi-monthly Commission meetings, and the “Action Network” is First Fridays and a division of the CCFP. They would like to visit with people who are interested in continuing an action network.
