Here are a few simple ways to foster a more personal, sustainable relationship to local food and make a difference in our community.
If you’re interested in supporting the Fargo-Moorhead local food community, check out our list of suggested community partners currently accepting volunteers as of summer 2020.
A large portion of wasted food includes perfectly good fruits & veggies that never make it to groceries and farmers markets because they aren’t picture-perfect. At Food of the North, we believe even "ugly food" should be eaten and enjoyed.
A Little Free Garden is a garden for all! The goal of the project is to foster communities committed to growing, sharing, and cultivating food in small gardens designed to fit in residential spaces.
Want to support our mission to celebrate, connect, and empower our local food community? Donate to the Food of the North Fund via the FM Area Foundation.
